     Computers, particularly the laptop or tablet can change the way information and communication are accessed, manipulated, evaluated and acted upon.  It can truly be a "mind tool." This is especially true when each student owns a mobile computer, wirelessly attached to the Internet and is able to have it with him or her both in classes at school and at home.   This is known as a one-to-one environment.
